Full Stack Engineer - Remote in Europe
We're seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team and assist in developing Infogram, a data visualization and infographics platform featuring an intuitive interface enabling users to create interactive charts, maps, graphs, and infographics. Infogram is a widely used tool across various sectors, including businesses, education, journalism, and individuals, allowing them to present data and information in an engaging and understandable format. We deliver this through a modern single-page application. Our tech stack revolves around JavaScript, and we're enthusiastic about experimenting with and adopting the latest technologies. Responsibilities:
Develop new data visualization solutions and enhance existing functionality
Design and construct scalable architectures prioritizing performance
Deploy solutions to a broad audience, enabling thousands of customers to publish visualizations for millions to view
Release updates through our Continuous Integration process
Implement visual requirements and guidelines enhancing data perception, usability, and design standards
Mentor and guide other software engineers
Requirements:
5+ years of professional web front-end/back-end development experience with strong proficiency in Node, React/JS/TypeScript, and modern web technologies
Solid understanding of SPA, and frameworks like React/Vue/Svelte and state management tools
Knowledge of client-side data transformation tools
Proficiency in crafting HTML/CSS code optimized for size and rendering, based on visual design specs
Comfort working within an existing codebase and developing new code
Excellent problem-solving, design, and debugging skills
Eagerness to learn and grow as a developer
Experience with agile or rapid-iterative software development methodologies
